Accessibility Plan

At NonStopHiring, accessibility is more than compliance — it’s about creating equal opportunities for everyone. Our Accessibility Plan outlines the steps we take to support people with disabilities, while also meeting our obligations under:

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA)

The Accessibility for Manitobans Act, 2013 (AMA)

This plan will be reviewed every five years and updated as needed to ensure we’re meeting both the law and the needs of our people.

When we say “employees,” we mean everyone: regular staff, temporary workers, assigned resources, co-op students, interns, and volunteers.

We’re committed to:

  • Providing a safe, dignified, and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely, respectful way.
  • Preventing and removing barriers wherever we can.

Continuously improving our practices through quarterly reviews with HR, risk, safety, legal, and D&I teams.

  • Employees with disabilities receive individualized emergency response information based on their accommodation needs.
  • Customers and clients can request emergency information in accessible formats with appropriate communication supports.

We provide accessibility training that covers:

  • Customer Service Standards
  • Integrated Accessibility Standards
  • The Human Rights Code (as it relates to people with disabilities)

Training is tailored to actual job duties and provided during onboarding for all new hires. We also:

  • Keep detailed training records.
  • Regularly update training as legislation evolves.

Partner with third-party experts to ensure best-in-class training content.

When procuring or designing self-service kiosks, we make sure accessibility features are considered from the start. Employees involved in procurement are trained to look for inclusive design.

  • We consult directly with people with disabilities to understand their communication needs.
  • Our websites comply with WCAG 2.0 Level A & AA standards, with ongoing global reviews to ensure accessibility.
  • Feedback processes (including reporting lines and privacy processes) are accessible.

When requested, we will:

  1. Consult with the individual to understand their needs.
  2. Provide information in a timely way and in a format that works for them.

Charge the same cost as regular formats (if any).
